Dip-flon engineering & co supplies pfa lined valves as a substitute of expensive metal valves, pumps, control valves etc. It is highly used in the chemical plants. These linings are made of injectable type thermoplastic fluoroplastic pfa [perfluoroalkoxy]. Pfa is developed in pressure sintering process. Pfa has several unique features like higher permeation resistances, high chemical resistance for most of the chemicals, and huge range of temperature resistance from -75°f to 400°f. These features make it appropriate for the chemical plants. Though pfa has same wall thickness, chemical and thermal resistance properties it generates much lower permeation rates than ptfe.
